BANDIT FORESTRY MOWERS / TRACKED MULCHER
MODELS 3000 / 3500 / 4000 / 5000
With four model choices, we have a mower to fit your project needs.
If you are looking for unmatched productivity, hydraulic power, engine horsepower, and operator comfort, the Model 5000 Track forestry mower, track mulcher, and stump grinder will fill the need. With an optional forestry mower or stump grinding attachment that can be switched in ten minutes using a quick attach coupler system, you can quickly address any form of tree standing in the way of land clearing operations or right-of-way maintenance. Equipped with the quality and performance expected from a Bandit product, the Model 5000 Track boasts a solid chassis construction for structural integrity, heavy-duty components that are tested for superiority, and performance characteristics that will extend for many years of service. A choice of engine options range from 540 to 600 horsepower.
All Bandit forestry mowers and track mulchers feature large Caterpillar undercarriages which are widely regarded as the best track platforms in the industry. These undercarriages give each machine low ground pressure, allowing the units to traverse unpredictable terrain often encountered by land clearing and right-of-way maintenance companies while providing the durability and flotation needed for muddy, hilly, and rugged areas.
When it comes to attachments, a 108-inch wide detachable forestry mower manufactured by Bandit provides unmatched productivity for the Model 5000 Track. The mower is equipped with 66 2″ wide double carbide teeth that are ideal for grinding both brush and trees, while being extremely tolerant against rock and dirt. A steel push bar is located on the top of the mower allowing the operator to easily direct and contain material as it is being ground. The mower is hydrostatic-driven using two massive 250CC hydraulic motors suspended by two heavy-duty overhung bearing adapters.
The optional stump grinder attachment features rotary planetary hydraulic 750CC motor that drives the cutterwheel and eliminates all drive belts and gear drive systems. The stump grinder head is hydrostatically driven and can be simply engaged by hitting a switch from inside the operator cab. This system is considered to be more reliable and less costly to maintain when compared to a belt driven system. Two 40″ diameter cutterwheels are offered for each model, the standard Bandit wheel and the Bandit Revolution wheel by New River Equipment Corporation. Both wheels are heavier than our competitors, provide a smooth grind, and contain the chips within a tighter radius from the point of the grind which reduces cleanup costs after the stump is removed.
Bandit equipment has earned the reputation of being best economical decision you can make for a long-term investment in a forestry mower or track mulcher.
